ABOUT
ME
Tia is a multicultural actor, educator, and entrepreneur. Being Singaporean and Austrian, and having grown up in Singapore, Switzerland and Hong Kong, she finds a piece of home wherever she goes.

Tia is currently based in the United Kingdom, where she completed an MA in Creative and Cultural Entrepreneurship at Goldsmiths and recently restructured and led an open-access youth club in Southeast London.
Prior to this, Tia trained at LASALLE College of the Arts (Singapore), receiving a BA with Honours in Acting in 2017. Upon graduation, she built a multifaceted career of performance and education, as well as co-founded the theatre collective, The Assembly Point.

Tia's theatre credits include The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged) (Singapore Repertory Theatre), Muswell Hill (Pangdemonium), and Animal Farm (Wild Rice). She has sung, danced, roller-bladed, and scuba-dived in shows, and hopes that flying is up next!

At the heart of Tia’s professional and personal practice lie a dedication to honest storytelling and a passion for championing multicultural identities. She is set to launch a social enterprise in the first quarter of 2025, with a goal to empower multicultural youth through drama-based methodology.
Tia takes a keen and urgent interest in sustainability, and believes in the power of listening to one another. She'd love to have a chat!

"Special mentions should also go to Tia Andrea Guttensohn [for] an extremely dramatic and heart-wrenching scene"
